Possibilities for spectators
Spectators can follow the Niesen- stairway-run at the start in Mülenen or in the finish area at the summit.
Live-Tracking at the pavilion
The relay race on Friday and the individual race on Saturday will be broadcast via live tracking in the pavilion of the Berghaus Niesen Kulm.
Live-Tracking on saturday with Niesen-Brunch
On saturday morning we offer Brunch that can be enjoyed while following the Niesen-stairway run via live-tracking.
If you book the stairway-brunch, you will be guaranteed a place in the pavillion to follow the live-tracking and enjoy your brunch.
The ascend times (6.15 and 6.45 am) must also be reserved. The reservation will be requested during the brunch booking process.
The brunch will take place from 7am to 9.30 am. Subsequently the sports-buffet will be prepared.
Sports-Buffet
On Friday evening, 7 June (relay race) and on Saturday at noon, 8 June (individual race) we will be offering a sports-buffet.
Price per person: CHF 28.00 (excluding transportation)
A voucher for the buffet can be purchased directly on site at the ticket office at the valley station or at the Berghaus Niesen Kulm.
Transportation by funicular for spectators
Friday
- Last ascend (before the race): 3 pm
- First ascend (after the race): 7 pm (last one at 7.30 pm) – sports buffet still possible
- First descend (after the race): 6.45 pm after that the regular evening timetable applies
Saturday
- Last ascend (before the race): 6.45 am (has to be booked via the webshop)
- First ascend (after the race): 11 am – sports buffet still possible
- First descend (after the race): 11.15 am
