Participation and competition regulations
No refund of entry fee in case of cancellation
In the event of cancellation/non-participation (clash of dates, illness, injury, etc.), there is no entitlement to a refund of the entry fee. Exception in case of illness or injury with the cancellation protection flexStart from TrackMaxx (this can be selected when registering).
Stairway-Run only in safe weather conditions
The run on the stairs is exposed, especially in the second part on the stairs and at the summit (2,362 metres above sea level) – unlike a run in the ‘valley’. A reliable weather forecast and safe weather on the day itself are required for the event to take place. The greatest danger comes from thunderstorms, heavy rainfall and temperature drops. The risk of cancellation due to the weather in the week of the event is therefore higher than for other runs – safety comes first. If the race is cancelled due to bad weather, the following procedure will be followed:
> All runners will be refunded the entry fee minus 20%.
> No transfer to the following year is possible (no guaranteed starting place).
> Participants are responsible for any additional costs (e.g. cancellation costs for overnight accommodation, etc.).
