At Berghaus Niesen Kulm, you can enjoy regional specialties at an elevation of 2,362 meters— with views of Lake Thun and the Alps or amidst a mystical cloudscape. Whether it’s a lunch menu, a light snack, or dinner at sunset, our culinary offerings are available throughout the day.

From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., we serve our extensive menu featuring freshly prepared dishes and regional specialties.
Our small menu is available all day—perfect for a quick bite or a break between hiking in the mountains and back down in the valley.
Table reservation
In our webshop you can reserve a table at a specific time (11.45, 12.15, 12.45, 13.15 and 13.45). This way you are sure to have a place for lunch.
Small evening menu
On evening rides of the funicular there is a small evening menu for guests who have not booked a culinary evening ride.
