The 19th Niesen-Stairway-Run will take place on June 12th / 13th, 2020.
A running experience on the longest stairway in the world with 11'674 steps. If you take part, you have to be fit and trained. The last passing times for the relay and single run are published in the program and will be strictly controlled.
The starting places are allocated as follows:
1 - 31 of December 2019
150 starting bibs are reserved for participants in the Oberland-Cup. Register for at least three of the four running events.
1 - 31 of January 2020
Registration for the raffle for the remaining starting places for the individual Stairway-Run. Registration for the raffle is for free. The winners receive a payment link at the beginning of February, where they can then pay the entry fee to definitely secure themselves the starting place for the Niesen-Stairwayrun.
Oberland Cup 2020
The four running events: Blüemlisalp-Lauf, Niesen-Stairway-Run, Abendlauf Wengen and the Vogellisi Berglauf have joined together in 2019 for a cup, which will be continued in 2020.
Advantages and attractive prices
Anyone who participates in three of the four races will automatically be considered for the cup classification. Not only the first three women, men and relay teams (overall) will win. All cup participants will win attractive prizes at the end.
For safety reasons, walking on the Niesen-Stairway is generally not allowed (except, at the Stairway-Run). Since at any time a ride on the Niesenbahn (extra trips) is possible, staying on the stairs is very dangerous.
