History
The restaurant/hotel at the top of the Niesen was built in 1856, 50 years before the funicular. In 2002 was the opening of the clear-cut, geometrically-designed and transparent restaurant pavillon to the public. The modern, functional architecture catches the eye and stands in contrast to the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains.

Opening hours
During the season the restaurant Niesen Kulm is open daily. Throughout the day it is possible to choose from a variety of dishes on the menu until 16.30 h.
Lunch is served daily from 12.00 h (Except sunday and public holidays from 12.30 h).
